Cain is a super special senior dog who needs a super special home. His feet are crippled with arthritis due to immune mediated polyarthritis. He is on prednisone to help stop the progression. He is very lively and gets around good, just likes a soft place to land. He is completely housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs both male and female, good with men, women and children. He does like to vocalize, he communicates by barking, but he doesn’t bark at things. He is affectionate and loves treats and eats well. He is neutered, his current blood panel shows no issues, he is up to date on shots and microchipped. If you have room in your heart for a special, loving whippet, please submit an application. He is ready to go now.

An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.

WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home. If the WRAP volunteer fostering a dog does not live in your state you may contact them at the email address shown above to inquire after you have submitted an adoption application.
