Dash is a 2 year old neutered male who was surrendered because the two littermates he was adopted with kept picking on him and fighting with him. Dash surprised me a little when he first came here as I thought he would not get along with my dogs. He did seem a little reserved and defensive at first, but now will play with my dogs with no problem. He is turning out to be a very nice whippet. He is super quiet in a crate and knows some commands. I believe his crate is his safe space. He is very anxious/nervous in the house and will need someone with lots of patience to deal with this. He is crate trained and house trained and will do his business outside and will come back in when he is done. Dash should be adopted as an only dog because of his defensiveness. However, I will consider a calm, submissive other whippet, preferably a female. Absolutely NO dog parks for Dash. Dash will only be adopted within a 2 hour driving distance of Douglas, MA. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.
WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home.
