Keno is a sweet but shy boy-that is until he knows you. He spent almost his whole life living in the kennels, so he can be scared and surprised by new things. Due to his life growing up, Keno looks a little older than he is, but don’t let that fool you. He loves to play with toys, do zoomies, and is the world’s best snuggle buddy. The perfect home for Keno is one that is more on the quiet side, has other canine friends for Keno to play with, has people that are home regularly, has a large fenced backyard, and one that is patient and will let him flourish. No apartments for this guy, because he tends to bark when he hears other dogs barking. He is also an excellent squirrel watcher, so probably no cats. Would do fine around mature, older children. Keno is learning to walk on a leash and does fine in my small, quiet cul-de-sac. He also does alright in a kennel, but prefers not to. He has only had a couple of accidents in the house and is mostly potty trained. He was recently neutered, utd on shots, negative fecal, negative heartworm, and bloodwork looks good. He just needs the perfect home that will give him some time to show his true loving self, and you will have a shadow dog that will provide unconditional love.

Nina (lighter brindle) and Noel (darker brindle with mask) are two sweet 9 year-old litter-mates, but please don’t call them Seniors! These ladies are equally fond of walks around the neighborhood, zoomies in the yard, and snoring on the nearest couch or human they can find. They are crate-trained and perfectly content to spend the night in crates—although they’d much prefer to spend the night with you. They’ve not been tested with children or cats but are currently living amicably with other canines, including cat-sized ones. Because they appear to be bonded, preference will be to keep them together. Requirements are a yard with grass and an at least six foot fence. They would prefer a quieter house with someone home most of the day and willing to take them on at least occasional neighborhood walks. Considering applications within 300 miles of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
