Hi everyone, my name is Marcia Marcia, my litter was named after the Brady Bunch! I am 13 years young, and in excellent health, except for a growth on my foot that needs to be monitored. It doesn’t interfere with my mobility at all. I was rescued after my people became ill and couldn’t keep me and my housemates, and I am still a little skittish about meeting new people and being touched. I get along great with other dogs though. My foster mom says I am a big girl for a whippet, but she means I’m big-boned, not that I’m super overweight (okay, mom says I could lose a few pounds too). I’m 46 pounds, black and white parti-color, and I really like couch cuddles when I get to know you, and I’m always interested in what you are eating. I am good in the house and don’t seem to have separation anxiety. It would be great to have a spoiled princess home for the rest of my life!

An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.

WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home. If the WRAP volunteer fostering a dog does not live in your state you may contact them at the email address shown above to inquire after you have submitted an adoption application.
