Meet Rink. He is an 11 year old gentleman living in PA outside Philadelphia. He up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and just had a dental to remove 13 teeth. Rink is in a foster home because his owner died suddenly and he had nowhere else to go. He is such a sweet dog with a very waggy tail and gives little kisses. He loves people especially men and likes to have them around but he gets upset and howls when left alone. For this reason a home that has someone home more than not AND another dog would be the best fit for this senior.
Rink loves to eat, but is not putting on weight so he is a bit thin. He has learned to use a dog door and walks really well on a leash. He sometimes sleeps on the bed with his fosters, too.
Please consider Rink if you have an extra dog bed that needs to be filled.

Meet Bret. He is a handsome 17 mos old sweet, sweet, boy. Bret needs a home with someone that’s home most of the time, all he wants to do is be your shadow. He just needs to be with his human. Bret is good on a leash, housebroken, and loves other dogs. He does get car sick, and absolutely hates being in a crate. Bret needs a home with structure, love, boundaries, and dog experience. But if you can give these things to Bret he will probably be the most devoted dog you have ever owned. Bret isn’t a big boy, he is 28lbs. Bret will be totally vaccinated, neutered, and on heartworm meds. He needs a special home to continue to work on his anxiety issues, but I promise you all the love you give him will be returned times ten.

If you are interested in Bret, please fill out an application and email his foster at brendajmalick@aol.com to let her know it was submitted.

Shadow is a lovely neutered seven year old male looking for his special forever home. He is going to need a home that is dog savvy and preferably with another whippet or two. Shadow is dealing with some separation anxiety but it can be managed. He does crate well but he needs more work on some other manners. He needs to be crated if you leave the house or even even go to another room or you can’t keep your eyes on him. But he will repay you with lots of love for the time that you spend working with him. he loves toys and balls and going for a walk but he needs work on his walking skills, as he has gotten away with pulling.

Adopted: Eddie and Beau, in Nashville TN

Edit

Name of Whippet, Location: ADOPTED: Eddie and Beau, brothers, fostered in Nashville TN
Location Category: Now Adopted
Name of foster volunteer: Linda Reiff
Email: lareiff@yahoo.com     Phone:
Address:

Eddie and Beau are 8 year old brothers. They are well socialized, housebroken and understand a dog door. They will do a little counter surfing, but that is minimal. They know how to walk on a leash and are both snugglers.

These two were a pet breeding and are 41 and 40 lbs. respectively. They were originally adopted together, and I hope can be placed together. They are healthy and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm.

Eddie (the darker dog) is the more demonstrative of the two. He will also bark and whine when you leave then calms down and starts up again when you come back.

Beau (lighter dog) is more reserved. He takes a person’s temperature before warming up. Once he has warmed up, all is well.

If you are interested in Eddie and Beau, please fill out an application and email their foster at lareiff@yahoo.com
