Marbles is a sassy, sweet ’n’ petite little girl with a red brindle coat. Marbles is pretty sure she can fly, but we aren’t convinced. She is outgoing and social, and loves to snuggle. She keeps herself busy playing with her brother Hopper and her foster siblings.
Marbles is clean and quiet in a crate. She’s well-behaved in the car, but gets a little carsick so she’s getting gradual exposure to help her become more comfortable. She is getting the hang of potty training, and learning how to enjoy baths and nail trims. At home she is go-go-go all the time, but will ask to be held once she’s ready to recharge. Marbles loves running around outside with her friends. She loves toys, especially ones that squeak!
Marbles is being fostered in Central Iowa. Her foster mom would prefer homes for Marbles in the Central Iowa area, or also in the Minneapolis/St. Paul or Kansas City areas. She would love a home with another dog who would enjoy a puppy sibling and to show her the ropes of being a great family dog.
An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.
WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home.
