Rosie is a 6.5 year old spayed female. She is fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccines and will be microchipped. She is house-trained, although she does have some mild separation anxiety which can occasionally cause her to regress. Crate training has progressed well, and she tolerates short periods of time during the day as well as overnights in her crate–although she would love nothing more than to be by her human’s side at all times. She is quite affectionate and very toy/treat-motivated.

Rosie’s forever home should include sighthound experienced humans who spend most of their time at home. Rosie will also require a securely fenced yard, and she would do best with at least one other trained, confident, and patient canine companion for play and routine reinforcement. We would prefer to place Rosie within two hours driving distance of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. If you believe you and your home are the perfect fit for Rosie, please fill out an application from the WRAP website.

An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.

WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home. If the WRAP volunteer fostering a dog does not live in your state you may contact them at the email address shown above to inquire after you have submitted an adoption application.
