Meet Tilly, an almost 6 year old female in Atlanta with a big heart and a sweet girly personality! She might be too camera shy for magazine covers, but she’s a star in every other way. With her flirty nature, Tilly will shower you with hugs and kisses (especially if you’ve just had some ice cream), and she’ll never turn down belly rubs! Her warm gaze will just melt your whippet-lovin’ heart.
Tilly is an outdoors enthusiast who loves to sniff around, go on daily walks rain or shine, run around at top speed in a fenced yard, and relax in the sunshine. She will happily supervise while you water the flowers or tend to the garden. She’s a loyal companion who enjoys hanging out with you while you go about your day. When she prefers to be alone, she’ll sneak away to her dedicated soft comfy “safe place”.
While you’re out, she is perfectly content snuggled up in a pillow fort on the bed with a whippet pal nearby and the freedom to look out the windows, while Jamie Oliver cooks up rabbit dishes on TV in the background. *She absolutely cannot be crated.*
Tilly had a rough time adapting to recent changes with a growing family, noisy little dogs, and being crated in her recent previous life, but she has truly blossomed in her foster home, showing just how confident, happy and perfect she can be.
She’s seeking a quiet home within 4 hours of Atlanta, where she can enjoy a calm environment, no human kiddos, a whippet playmate, and a spot on the couch or bed where she can sprawl out… without a crate in sight. She is okay around cats.

An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.
WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home.
