Meet Asher: The “Stocky Bullet” with a Soft Side
Asher is a vibrant, intelligent boy who brings 100% effort to everything he does—whether it’s sprinting in the yard or claiming his spot on the bed. He’s looking for an active, engaged home that can keep up with his “heart” and drive.

The Highlights
• Personality: Affectionate, smart, and a total “snuggle butt.” Despite his medium build, he has a way of taking up the whole bed when it’s time to cuddle.
• Athleticism: He is built like a solid little bullet. With his natural drive and quick learning, he would be a standout in dog sports (like agility, flyball, or lure coursing).
• Social Life: Asher thrives with companions. He currently loves playing with his greyhound foster sister and respects the boundaries of a balanced pack.
• Skills: Crate trained.
o Proficient with a dog door.
o Knows “sit” and “wait.”
o Shares toys and low value chews beautifully.
The Ideal Home
• The Pack: Asher has specifically requested a home with a female whippet or a small female greyhound. He does best with sisters who can “keep him in his lane” while being fast enough to keep up with their chase games.
• Activity Level: A family committed to daily physical and mental stimulation is a must. He isn’t just a backyard dog; he needs a job or a sport to channel his energy. A fenced-in yard is necessary.
• Training Focus: His new family should be ready to continue his “scholarship” regarding counter surfing and building positive associations with the leash.

Quick Stats
• Health Note: He has a history of car sickness, though he’s been a champion traveler in his current foster home.
• Temperament: High drive but very cuddly.
• Training Status: Working on leash manners and “off” (counters).
Asher is clearly a special soul who just needs the right environment to truly shine.
