I’d like to introduce you to Rex. He may be 10 years old, but he still loves to play with the frisbee and tennis ball like he’s a young pup! His other favorite hobbies include cuddling on the couch, going for walks (he’s great on a lead), and of course, nap time. Rex is a very curious dog and will likely be your shadow until he gets fully settled in. The lady of the house will steal the heart of this big fella. He recently had a thorough vet exam and has a clean bill of health.
An ideal home for Rex would be a calm household (without young children) with a fenced yard (for chasing the frisbee and tennis ball). He came from a home with 10 other brothers and sisters. So, he is comfortable with other adult whippets. Compatibility with cats is unknown.

An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.
WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home.
