If you can open your heart and home to this handsome boy, please fill out an application online. Mohan is a loving 8-year-old whippet, who will be 9 in July. He is larger than typical whippets (37lb). He is beautiful, cuddles, and is well behaved in the house, with no accidents. He asks to go out by standing up and going to the door. Some people would describe him as a “Velcro dog,” because he follows us everywhere. He is crate-trained but is well behaved in the house alone.
A fenced yard is a priority. We are working to manage his tendency to be a “breed-snob” and responding well. He prefers the company of whippets and greyhounds, and gets along well with our greyhound, Piper, who is 9 years. He is also likely to be comfortable as an “only dog.” Mohan likes to sit on the furniture and sleep with us.
Mohan does not fight for food but likes to eat. He does not beg. He is updated on his vaccines and microchipped. Please let me know if you might be interested. You can call, email, or text.
An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.
WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home.
