Blondie is a beautiful approximately 3 year-old spayed female who’s available for adoption. She likes to frolick in her foster family’s yard, and enjoys the company of kids also. She does enjoy as much human cuddles and attention. She is doing good with foster mom’s other two male whippets, so she would be ok as a only dog or another dog similar to her characteristics. Blondie loves her crate, but does have some separation anxiety, because she was used to being crated with another dog up until recently. She’s not quite leash-trained, but she’s eager to please and very food-driven. If you like a dog who loves to sprawl across your lap for hours, Blondie is your girl! She’s microchipped, fully vetted, and up-to-date on her vaccines. Her adopter must be within two to three hours of the Chicagoland area and we do not ship any of our foster dogs.
An adoption application is REQUIRED to be submitted before you contact a WRAP foster volunteer about this rescue or others currently available for adoption. Please submit an application. WRAP volunteers may respond to applicants and will make final decisions on adoptions. We will keep your application on file for six months.
WRAP does not ship dogs and prefers to place Whippets in homes within a reasonable driving distance from the foster home.
